Q: What can I expect during a therapy session?

During therapy sessions, you will have the opportunity to talk about what's on your mind in a supportive and confidential environment.


I will listen and help you explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight, and develop new ways of coping with difficult experiences.


Q: What kind of therapy do you offer?

I take a trauma-informed approach to therapy. I practice from a feminist, anti-racist and anti-oppressive viewpoint. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and other trauma-informed therapies.


I am trained to work with various topics including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.  


Q: How many sessions will I need?

The number of therapy sessions you need depends on many factors, such as the nature of your concern, your goals for therapy, and your progress. Some people may benefit from a few sessions, while others may need more extended therapy.


I will work with you to determine the best course of treatment for your individual needs.
