Q: What is therapy and how does it work?

Therapy is a process of working with a trained mental health professional to explore and address emotional, behavioral, or psychological concerns. The process usually involves regularly scheduled sessions where you can talk about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe, non-judgmental environment. In my sessions, I use different techniques and approaches to help you gain insight, develop coping skills, and make positive changes in your life.

Q: What kind of therapy do you offer?

I take a trauma-informed approach to therapy holistic, person-centered and strengh-based. I am trained to work with various topics including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.

Q: What can I expect during a therapy session?

During therapy sessions, you will have the opportunity to talk about what's on your mind in a supportive and confidential environment. I will listen and help you explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight, and develop new ways of coping with difficult experiences.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

The number of therapy sessions you need depends on many factors, such as the nature of your concern, your goals for therapy, and your progress. Some people may benefit from a few sessions, while others may need more extended therapy. I will work with you to determine the best course of treatment for your individual needs.
